Slow drain or full backup? Get it cleared today. Call now!

A drain that gurgles, drains slow or backs up into a second fixture is telling you where the clog is. We read that, put a machine on the right line, and clear it properly instead of pushing the problem twenty feet further down the pipe.

  • Kitchen sinks packed with grease and food scale
  • Tubs and showers slowed by hair and soap buildup
  • Laundry standpipes overflowing on the spin cycle
  • Main line stoppages backing up into low fixtures
  • Outdoor and yard drains after heavy Florida rain
  • Recurring clogs that come back every few months

Cable machine or hydro jetter?

A cable machine punches through the blockage and is the right tool for a hair clog, a paper stoppage or an emergency you need moving in twenty minutes. It clears a path.

A hydro jetter uses high-pressure water to scour the pipe wall back to full diameter. That is what a grease-caked kitchen line under a restaurant, or a root-filled lateral, actually needs. It cleans the pipe.

We tell you which one your line needs and why. If a cable is enough, we are not going to sell you a jetting.

Why the same drain keeps clogging

If you are clearing the same line two or three times a year, the clog is a symptom. Usually it is one of four things: roots finding a joint in an older clay or cast iron lateral, a belly (a low spot where the pipe sagged in our sandy soil) collecting solids, grease that was never fully removed, or a pipe that has scaled down to half its diameter from the inside.

A camera inspection answers it in about fifteen minutes, and you see the screen at the same time we do.

Please skip the chemical drain cleaner

Caustic drain products rarely clear a real clog. They sit on top of it, heat up, and then a plumber has to work in that liquid. On older cast iron and on the thin-wall drain lines in some 1970s builds, repeated use eats the pipe.

Plunger first, then call. If you already poured something down there, just tell us so we can gear up for it.

Drain cleaning questions we get every week

Most single-fixture drains are a flat rate quoted onsite once the plumber sees the access. Main line clearing costs more, and hydro jetting more again. You get the number before we start, and it does not change afterward.

Some older Jacksonville homes never got an exterior cleanout, which means we have to pull a toilet or go through a roof vent to reach the line. Adding a cleanout is a small job that makes every future service faster and cheaper, and we will quote it while we are there.

Yes. Live oaks, water oaks and palms send roots straight toward the moisture at a leaking pipe joint. On lines with roots we usually recommend jetting with a root-cutting head, then a camera to decide whether the joint needs a spot repair or a liner.

Always. Floor protection goes down before the machine comes in, and the work area gets sanitized before we leave.
